TOPEX brought the Mobilink IP to ITU Telecom World 2009 Geneva

Continuing the participation at the major telecom events, TOPEX joined between October 5th and 9th, the unrivaled event for the global telecommunication and information communication technology sector, ITU Telecom World 2009 Geneva.

ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009 brought together top names from around the world. The global ICT arena continues to offer significant opportunities for growth and investment. The event provided a platform on which key issues of importance to IT&C sector can be discussed.

TOPEX theme at this event was the GSM/UMTS small capacity gateway with VoIP interfaces, TOPEX Mobilink IP. Its main functionality is to interconnect IP PBX or hibrid PBX with mobile networks. With TOPEX MobiLink IP the clients make significant savings on calls from IP to cellular networks and backwards (call termination and origination).

With this new product, TOPEX is looking to provide its customers with solutions that would suit their requirements. TOPEX Mobilink IP supports up to 2 cellular operators, it is an ideal solution for cost reduction with fast return of investment and also works with any IP-PBX or Softswitch based on SIP or H323 protocols and supporting NAT traversal. The equipment is a perfect solution for interconnecting IP telephony with cellular networks.
