TOPEX present at Black Sea Defense and Aerospace Exhibition & Conference 2008

TOPEX, a European telecom equipment manufacturer and ATC solution provider, participated between 24 and 26 of September at the second edition of International Exhibition and Conference dedicated to Aerospace, Defense, Homeland Security and Safety & Security (BSDA 2008), being supported by and held at ROMAERO.

The largest Aerospace, Defense, Homeland Security and Safety & Security exhibition from South East of Europe attracted over 200 expositors from 20 countries and presented the latest innovative technologies and solutions created by the best international suppliers of aerospace and defense equipment.

TOPEX provides highly available communication and information solutions for Air Traffic Control industry and it proposed for this event both its VCS solutions, legacy and IP, with all their features, advantages and benefits. The reliable VCS solution provided by TOPEX has been implemented at Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration for over five years and allows its configuration for a very wide range of applications in the ATC/ATM field. TOPEX VCS is a voice communication system intended for air traffic control applications and dispatcher - type communication centers.  The new TOPEX IP VCS solution was developed because of the company sustained efforts to adapt market available VoIP technologies to ATC particular requirements. In this way, TOPEX IP VCS is a fully redundant Air Traffic Management solution being flexible and easy to upgrade, integrate or customize.

Due to excellent collaboration certified by traditional long business relations between TOPEX and ROMATSA, the organization providing the achievement of the air traffic control, the companies participated together at this event, presenting their services and products in the Ministry of Transports stand.
