New version of VoxiPlus gateway is released
TOPEX launched a new version of the VoxiPlus media gateway. VoxiPlus Advanced is the enhanced version of the initial VoxiPlus including VoIP, PRI and Cellular channels on the same chassis.
The innovation of VoxiPlus Advanced is built on the number of cellular channels. On the base variant of VoxiPlus the client can use only 4 GSM channels but with this new version on VoxiPlus are available up to 12 channels – 2G or 3G.
The reduced size, high scalability and modularity made from VoxiPlus advanced the perfect solution for the migration to a larger mobile capacity at reduced costs and assuring an efficient return of investments.
Several features like LCR module, advanced call routing for both incoming and outgoing calls, E-Mail, Fax, SMS and voice integration allows an easier interconnection with several types of PBXs - ISDN or IP.
VoxiPlus Advanced is suitable for SME environment, customers with PSTN infrastructure, fixed line, alternative or mobile operators. Due to its high scalability the equipment can answer all the clients requirements achieving a high performance in the shortest time interval.
The modularity of VoxiPlus Advanced is done by the 4 interchangeable cards with communication interfaces. The equipment features 4 slots for cards, one dedicated to the processor card and the other 3 for the cellular boards.
The core of the system, the processor card achieves 3 functions in only one board: processor, VoIP and E1 communication interfaces. The VoIP chipset can support between 4 and 30 voice channels upon the requirements of operation. The interconnection with legacy PBX and PSTN networks is made through the 2E1 interfaces (in and out) located on the same processor board.
The GSM cards include 4 cellular modules per board covering both 2G (GSM) and 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) networks. VoxiPlus Advanced assures a granularity of 4 cellular channels, the configurations supported being 4, 8 or 12 channels per equipment. Optionally can be equipped with 4 BRI interfaces for the PSTN or legacy PBX connection.
Also called 4Legs, VoxiPlus Advanced gateway allows the simultaneous convergence of PSTN, VoIP and Cellular networks providing the customers several advantages like voice migration to other networks, fixed or mobile, offering a complete communication solution. |
