TOPEX proposes a new version for its VoiBridge gateway

TOPEX, the innovative European telecommunication company, is pleased to announce that Sierra Wireless HSDPA modules were successfully installed on its VoiBridge gateway.

Being permanently preoccupied to improve its products, its services and the technical support provided to its partners, TOPEX introduces to the worldwide market the HSDPA version of VoiBridge gateway incorporating innovative features such as SIM Server Ready.

The HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) technology, an upgrade version for 3G network, enables better performance in data transmission helping to strongly promote mobile IP multimedia services in mass markets. The presence of these Sierra Wireless modules in the TOPEX gateway gives users the possibility to access the network at frequencies of 850/1900/2100MHz and to easily configure the VoiBridge in order to customize it according to their needs.

TOPEX VoiBridge is used as a Trunk Gateway between an IP PBX and the mobile networks (GSM, UMTS or HSDPA), its main functionality being to interconnect VoIP networks with mobile networks. With TOPEX VoiBridge customers can make significant savings on calls due to the advanced Least Cost Routing functions. The product supports up to 4 HSDPA channels to IP and works with any IP PBX or Softswitch, based on SIP and H323 protocols. TOPEX VoiBridge includes also Mobility Extension features and it is a perfect convergence solution for clients with IP PBX infrastructure.
