An IP PBX is a telephonic system that allows phone calls over the IP data network. All the conversations are sent like data packets. TOPEX equipment has all the features of a classic IP PBX and additionally it incorporates GSM boards for convergence with mobile networks.
TOPEX VoisTel is a VoIP Private Branch Exchange perfect for small medium business environments. It offers full PBX functionality and services while enhancing the enterprise communication with new applications due to the underlying IP infrastructure.
The equipment has built-in ISDN-PRI (E1), ISDN-BRI, GSM, UMTS or analog interfaces. The hardware and software modularity allows any company to customize their own solution depending on needs. By means of integrated GSM/UMTS board, all your calls can be managed in an efficient way, offering you the opportunity to converge all type of existing networks into your communication system: PSTN, IP and mobile networks.
The product is developed under TOPEX proprietary platform which incorporates processor module, IP and E1 connections on the same board, named PGVoIP. This supports additional GSM cards with 2 or 4 mobile modules.
The electrical circuit includes an XD Card which contains the embedded application of the TOPEX miniGateway equipment. Also, depending on the used configuration, the equipment can be supplied with an internal hard disk which connects on the PGVoIP card through the USB connectors.
Customers include Internet Service Providers, Fixed Operators, Enterprises or Alternative Operators. Each of these customers can gain advantages by adding the solution to their existing offer. Internet service providers can supply VoisTel for voice migration from classical TDM telephony to VoIP systems or for adding voice services to the already existing data network while telecommunication operators can offer a complete communication solution to their business clients. |
