TOPEX Receives 2006 Product of the Year Award from Communications Solutions
Topex proposes a new application for its new version of Bytton 3G router. Due to its advanced features the equipment now allows new deployments such as: AC and Heating Applications, medical application, electricity applications, gas industry, street lamp project or arterial roadways.
One application is controlling the temperature conditions based on the occupancy information in a hotel. Topex router connects to the hotel controller and sends the information to the management center, this way delivering reliable information about the conditions in the hotel. The beneficiaries are companies with several hotels or buildings spread in several locations within a country.
In the medical application you can use Bytton for collecting information from dispersed Blood Banks or Nurse Stations and sending them to the Management Center. If you have temporary blood collection centers through the city you can have an up-to-date situation in every center by transmitting the information to the central management station via 3G networks.
Another new and interesting application is the use of Bytton 3G router in Street Illumination Projects. In cities with street lamps with integrated PCB, the information on each pillar is sent to the Intelligent Concentrator Head End (ICHE). Then, connected to the wireless router, all data is sent to the Electricity Provider which collects the information from the ICHE units around the city. Information gathered can include power consumption, bulb life expectation or failure.
Bytton wireless router incorporates innovative features such as the DUAL SIM technology which permits the unit to automatically switch networks in the event of one network failure, IPSec VPN, L2TP, PPTP tunnels over the internet with complete security.
The router acts as a voice cost optimizer tool for fixed to mobile calls with Least Cost Routing capability.
