TOPEX Finds UK Distributor for Advanced Telecommunications Equipment

C21 Communications Ltd and TOPEX SA are pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement for the supply of the complete TOPEX range of advanced VoIP and convergent technology products and solutions into the UK and Ireland.

TOPEX SA products address the needs of business today that demand cheaper calls from fixed line to mobile and the ability to exploit the Internet and existing data networks with VoIP for very low cost calling.

C21 Communications (C21) was formed specifically to distribute TOPEX SA products and solutions. It will provide all the traditional services expected of a distributor, stock holding, local technical support, country marketing and pre–sales assistance to reseller customers. C21 will use the new “network market model” to provide more value to its customers and users.

All types of users, systems integrators, corporates, service and network providers and SMEs will have access to both C21 information and TOPEX providing everything from technical solutions to prices.

“The market place for convergent IT and Communications (IT&C) is growing at 20% CAGR according to several different sources compared with 4 to 5% in IT and falling revenues for telephony” says David Quirk, CEO of C21. “The TOPEX range is so wide, from fixed to mobile convergence to air traffic control systems, that these products will allow us to exploit that growth” continues Quirk, “but it has been necessary to re-think the traditional distribution model to find better ways of serving the customer.
