TOPEX Gets Involved in the Promotion of NGN in Romania
TOPEX has held on September 22nd 2006, the seminar “Moving to the next generation Networks” at JW Marriott hotel, Timisoara room.
The event held by TOPEX on Friday, September 22nd 2006 is part of a much ampler TOPEX project focused on the popularization of the NGN concept and on its turning into a much more accessible notion.
The seminar discussed NGN solutions and applications, thus intending to make as many Romanian companies as possible benefit on NGN due to this project.
The event put together representatives of renowned Romanian companies on the Romanian market such as: SteamWide, Euroweb, Allied Telesyn, Romavia, Atlas Telecom, CG&GC Intelligent Technology, Datanet Systems SRL, Datek Telecom SA, ICCO Electronics, Marac Romania, Beia, Radiocom etc.
Among approached topics: NGN notions, switching from classical networks to NGN, Interactive NGN Services, IPTV & VoD for Triple Play. Also, Q&A sessions were held at the end of the presentations due to which the participants had the opportunity to get answers from specialists, exemplified with demonstrations.
StreamWide also had panel presentations - “NGN Interactive Services” and Euroweb gave examples related to the integration of TOPEX equipments in the Eurovoice services platform, together with TOPEX.
TOPEX has presented the Next Generation Network project – Voice Network for the next generation. The NGN TOPEX solutions are based on the TOPEX multiswitch (softswitch) equipment together with the TOPEX Media Gateway family. These allow you to offer more services and develop new income sources (interconnection, extra services). The Topex project will also continue next year as the obvious interest of the guests in the topics presented on September 22nd have strengthened Topex’ conviction that it is necessary that they should support the companies that can benefit on NGN advantages.
