Launching of Carrier Class Softswitch

TOPEX announces the launching of its Carrier Class Softswitch at CeBIT Hannover 2006.

TOPEX SOFTSWITCH is designed for small and medium size Service Providers and Carriers. It enables them to offer enhanced IP based telephony services considering their migration to NGN solutions. This next generation platform allows an easy and scalable transition from legacy based infrastructures to optimized IP based networks. TOPEX SOFTSWITCH comprises the most extensive range of signaling protocols in the same equipment.

TOPEX SOFTSWITCH supports multiple applications such as packet toll, packet tandem access, voice off load, mobile switching trunking and IP based enhanced services trunking. It supports a variety of supplementary services. It also provides telecom quality platforms that can strategically fit into existing core infrastructures.

TOPEX SOFTSWITCH provides call-control intelligence for establishing, maintaining, routing and terminating voice calls. It serves as an interface for enhanced service and application platform.
