Bancpost was recognized by the prestigious publication Euromoney as the best bank in Romania in Corporate Governance.

"This award is both a honour and an obligation for us, particularly now when Bancpost is in full process of restructuring and modernisation, and the correct implementation of the corporate governance principles cannot but lead to the successful accomplishment of this process to the interest of our shareholders, employees and customers," stated Mr. Mihai Bogza, Chairman of Bancpost Board of Directors.

Mr. Georgios Michelis, Bancpost General Manager said: "The news that Bancpost was conferred the award for the best bank in Romania in corporate governance in the very first year of implementing that principle in our bank was highly appreciated by Eurobank, the major shareholder of Bancpost.
