Do you have a card on which I could receive my salary from Romania (in Lei), that I could also use abroad? Plese give me some details about it. (commission etc.)
We recommend you the TAIFUN card (Master Card) which
is a debit card with a Lei account with international use.
The card is accepted in over 800.000 ATMs in the entire world
and at over 25 million traders, anywhere the MasterCard logo
is posted.
The emission tax is 30 RON, the minimum initial amount 100 RON,
the intangible amount in the account 15 RON, commission for withdrawal
from Bancpost ATMs 0.2%, other ATMs in Romania 0,5% + 2,5
RON, 0 commission for the use of the card for payments.
Which is the
minimum amount for opening a banking account?
Current account: there isn’t a minimum amount for opening
the account.
The opening tax for RON account: 5 RON.
The opening tax for foreign currency account: free of charge
Deposit account: The term deposits in lei can be opened with
amounts starting from 300 RON and those in foreign currency
starting from 1000 EUR/USD.
Saving accounts: The initial amount is 1000 RON, respectively
500 EUR/USD. The subsequent deposits (unlimited) can be of any
value. The interest rate grows with the deposited amount.
